Please join us in welcoming Dr. Shamkant Mulgaonkar to our Medical Board. Dr. Mulgaonkar is the Chief of the Transplant Division at the Saint Barnabas Health Care System and championed the development of the paired exchange program in New Jersey. He and his team have been involved in paired exchange for over five years. Saint Barnabas and Beth Israel have been among the most active centers in our system, successfully completing 9 exchange transplants over the past year. We have already benefited from the Dr. Mulgaonkar’s vast experience in paired exchange look forward to facilitating more transplants as we continue to benefit from his leadership in paired exchange.
