Welcome! Based on your situation, you are considering donating your kidney
to someone facing kidney failure when you pass away. The most effective way to
make this happen is to visit your local Department of Motor Vehicles office
and have them indicate on your driver’s license that you want to be an
organ donor. After your license has been updated, carry it with you.
You can also carry an Organ and Tissue Donor Card.

Just fill out the card and carry it with you.
In addition, some states have registries to facilitate organ donation.
