Welcome! Donating a kidney is a wonderful gift that will truly help someone in need. We are here to answer all questions and make the living donation process as easy as possible. Below is our 10- step process:

Step 1	Review the Health Guidelines for Living Donation.
Step 2	Register with Us.
Step 3	Both you and your Doctor complete and return the Medical Certification Form.
Step 4	Once we have the completed Medical Certification Form we will send you a Blood Test Kit with instructions.
Step 5	Once we have your Blood Test results, you will receive instructions outlining the Basic Tests that are required for the next step.
Step 6	Once we have the results of your Basic Tests, we schedule a donor evaluation which can take 1-2 days and may require travel.
Step 7	The donor evaluation takes place at the potential recipient’s transplant center.
Step 8	Once we have results from your donor evaluation, we schedule the transplant surgery at the recipient’s transplant center.
Step 9	A final cross match (blood test) is performed one week prior to surgery. This can be done through overnight mail.
Step 10	If the final cross match is ok, surgery takes place at the recipient’s transplant center.
