Quarterly Reports

4th Quarter 2012

12/31/2012 by ws-admin

2012 was another record year for the NKR with 226 exchange transplants completed. This represents a 29% increase in NKR facilitated transplants over 2011 and accounts for approximately half of all U.S. exchange transplants (OPTN reports 441 completed in 2011 and 378 completed from January through September of 2012).

3rd Quarter 2012

09/30/2012 by ws-admin

We continue to witness rapid growth in the number of transplants we are facilitating along with expanding interest from new transplant centers who would like to begin actively participating in our program.

2nd Quarter 2012

06/30/2012 by ws-admin

The first half of 2012 saw continued growth with the successful completion of 97 exchange transplants including 13 patients with cPRAs in excess of 95%. Many of these highly sensitized patients found donor matches that did not require any desensitization.

1st Quarter 2012

03/31/2012 by ws-admin

2012 is off to a great start with the successful completion of 45 exchange transplants during the first quarter. This brings us to 434 transplants since we started organizing swaps four years ago.

4th Quarter 2011

12/31/2011 by ws-admin

2011 was another record year for the National Kidney Registry with the facilitation of 175 exchange transplants during the year, including the successful completion of our longest chain–30 transplants across 16 member centers. This brings us to 389 transplants since we began organizing swaps four years ago.
