With over 20 years of accounting, finance, and human resource experience, Jennifer Derba leads the National Kidney Registry as Vice President of Accounting and Controller. She brings a wealth of expertise in financial management, planning, and operational optimization to her role. Jennifer has established herself as a trusted leader known for her strategic vision and commitment to excellence.
After earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, Jennifer began her career in public accounting, where she gained invaluable experience in auditing and financial analysis. Her strong analytical skills and attention to detail propelled her into leadership roles in the corporate world, where she successfully managed financial operations for companies across multiple industries. Driven by a desire to make a meaningful impact, Jennifer transitioned to the healthcare sector, where she served as Accounting Manager in various finance and accounting capacities.
Outside of work, Jennifer is an active member of her community, volunteering her time and expertise to support various charitable initiatives. She is passionate about giving back and making a positive impact, both professionally and personally and is active on multiple community boards. Jennifer resides in Valhalla, NY where she lives with her husband and 3 children.
